Sweat is fat crying. Show no mercy!
I think I have emphasized enough how I love the Runkeeper app. It allows you to track distance, time and pace. But best of all, it allows you to sign up for training programmes which are absolutely free!
Signing up for the training programmes in the Runkeeper app has several advantages.
1. The programmes are progressive.
This is especially good for those who have just started out and just want to build up your stamina in a comfortable pace.
2. Every workout in the schedule is different.
Sometimes I get very bored doing the same workouts over and over again. Runkeeper’s traning programmes suggest a different workout throught the whole regime. One day you would be running for long distances and the next you could be scheduled to do 8X 1min sprints. The varieties make it fresh!
3. It sets definite goals where you can follow.
Perhaps one of the greatest reasons why people can’t see progress in their fitness despite working out for months is that they lack a goal. Having a goal is important as it makes you work harder and improve faster. Under Runkeepr’s training programme, you need to complete different daily challenges. It gives you a goal of sorts and makes it fun. After you have completed the challenge, you feel proud of yourself and it pushes you to not give up.
