SPARTAN RACE Prep DAY 66 (Running and good food, the cycle of self sabotage)

Fried chicken nasi briyani for lunch and pork ribs with crab for dinner. How can I ever lose weight like that? 😦

I think I have a love hate relationship with food. On one hand I love it to the core. I love all the fried and sweet stuff, especially ice cream! On the other hand, I gain weight very easily and I so very greedy. Throughout this weight loss journey, food has been my bane. Then again, life has no meaning if all we do I just trying to lose weight and not have any good food at all. :/

Anyways, with all the delicious food I hate today, I tried to eat no rice for dinner to compensate. Self-denial much. I knew that I can’t just go and rest after my meals. I need to burn some extra calories off. So I went down for a 30min run. The weather was good and I was running at good pace. Was quite surprised that I didn’t really feel very tired despite the speed. It seems like my body is getting used to long distance running again.

Spartan Race is about two weeks away. Feeling really excited for the race. Hope it’s as good as it sounds!
