We have a new friend joining us today! Brendan! He recently failed his IPPT and wanted to train up so that he can pass the next time.
We ran a little further before taking a break this time. We ran for 3km and reached the Art Science Museum and took a little rest as our half way point. We then continued to run back to our starting point, another 3km. So that’s 6km in total! After the 6km, Daniel and I did 10 burpees to finish the workout. But Brendan couldn’t take it anymore and didn’t join us.
Setting goals are pretty important in runs as the mental state can help you go further or limit your run altogether. Brendan made the mistake of setting his goal too short, only at the 3km mark. As such, when we were running back, he was not mentally prepared. The run became tough for him.
Anyways, it was a good time running and traning with the bros! 😀
