DAY 49: Muay Thai Workout

Doing LTA Benson’s workout the day before muay thai training is a bad idea. I clearly underestimated the workout. My chest is sore when I woke up this morning.

Muay thai training always start with push up and burpees and I have trouble doing them today with my chest feeling so sore. My didn’t learn anything especially new today during Muay Thai. Just some combinations leading to a leg kick and some pivoting for a hook and roundhouse. Nonetheless, it was really tiring as there were many kicks in the combination. As usual, after each set with have to do 50 punches and 20 roundhouse kicks.

After kicking the pads, the coach have more tricks up his sleeves. We are to do roundhouse kicks for 3 min and in between, he will call for us to do 10 tuck jumps. It is certainly a killer for those thigh and calf muscles.

Tired..But great workout!
