DAY 65: Taekwondo Cardio/Leg day

Had Taekwondo training today. Most of the other guys were preparing for their Poomsae competition today so it left with Daniel and I to entertain ourselves. Daniel decided he wanted to do more cardio to lose weight today and even brought his gloves. Thus, we made use of the thai pads of the Muay thai club to do our training.

Round 1
Combo: Jab, cross, hook, right roundhouse, cross           3mins
Conditioning: 50 punches, 20 roundhouses                        2sets

Round 2
Combo: Slide in roundhouse, roundhouse to mid-section, roundhouse to head      10 sets both orthodox and southpaw stance
Conditioning: 20 roundhouses             2sets

Round 3
20 roundhouses focusing on strength and technique
20 roundhouses focusing on speed

Round 4
50 punches, 20 roundhouses              1 set

Round 5
20 Squats
50 crunches

Round 6
20 roundhouses focusing on strength and technique
20 roundhouses focusing on speed

It was a fruitful session today. Did a lot of kicks and got the heart rate pumping. Could feel my legs begging for oxygen when the training was finally over.
