DAY 83: Taekwondo- Interval training/ Basics

Back to Taekwondo training today. Training was postponed last week due to Good Friday. Here’s what we did today!

Warm up
10min running around, get leg muscles warmed up
Stretching 15mins

Round 1
Basic kicks

20 front kick, 20 high front kick, 20 axe kicks
Combination kicks
Front kick, axe kick X20
Conditioning
10 right roundhouse, 10 left roundhouse, 20 left and right alternating roundhouses

Round 2
Basic kicks

20 roundhouse, 20 high roundhouse
Combination kicks
Right roundhouse, left roundhouse X10
Left roundhouse, right roundhouse X10
Right roundhouse, left roundhouse , right high roundhouse X10
Left roundhouse, right roundhouse, left high roundhouse  X10
Conditioning
10 right roundhouse, 10 left roundhouse

Round 3
Basics training
Roundhouse hip turning exercise 10min


Roundhouse leg hold 10min
Basic kicks
20 roundhouse, 20 high roundhouse
Combination kicks
Right roundhouse, left roundhouse X10
Left roundhouse, right roundhouse X10
Right roundhouse, left roundhouse , right high roundhouse X10
Left roundhouse, right roundhouse, left high roundhouse  X10
Conditioning
10 right roundhouse, 10 left roundhouse

Round 4
Non-contact sparring 8 rounds, 1.5min each

Cool down

Epic leg day
