DAY 280: First Muay Thai lesson of the year

First training of the year #muaythai #shag

Going back to the basics. We revised how to throw a cross today. Coach Pal said that he realised some of us when we throw our cross, we don’t turn our truck and extend our right hand enough. Hence, the power of the punch is greatly reduced. Hence, today’s muay thai session, we practice throwing crosses over and over again till we get good.

The combination is quite short today but because there is short rest time in between, there’s hardly time to breathe. It was a great cardio workout.

Start Warm up: jumping jacks, running on the spot, tuck jumps
