DAY 325: First time praised by coach Pal after fight training

It’s last week of the month. It’s time for FIGHT TRAINING! During this week, coach Pal’s horns grows out of his head and forces us to train like the fighters. He’s super strict! No drinking means no drinking. Not even a sip. And you better give everything you’ve got and remember your fundamentals. If not, get really to do loads of push ups!

Started off the session with really intensive shadow boxing then some light sparring. Only those who show the grit to endure through training was allowed to continue with the Fight training. The rest will have to join the beginner’s class.

Start Warm up: jumping jacks, running on the spot, tuck jumps, burpees
Stretching
Shadow box: working on defense only. Coach Pal will shout a number and we have to give that number of strikes.

Also when coach Pal shouts “up”, we gotta do a tuck jump and when he shoutes “down”, we gotta do a burpee.

Tiring session but coach Pal was really happy with us as we all gave our best. He says he seldom praise people during Fight training but he felt that he really did a good job. And special mentions was given to a girl. She is a beginner but she really gave her best and never gave up even when she was to spar with some of the guys. Really admired her grit and resilience! Attitude is 80% of training!
